Sake Asian Bistro Niceville

Dine in was amazing. The sushi is out of this world. We got our food quick. The fried food was a little greasy but over all good. I would recommend this place.

I was craving a sushi roll and happened to be out in the Blue Water Bay neighborhood and I saw Sake! They have a full menu of sushi rolls, hibachi, and even some Chinese dishes to choose from. They also have delicious desserts. I tried the thunder roll which added a crispy crunch along with some delicious dauces drizzled artfully over the roll and on the plate. The presentation was absolutely beautiful, just like you'd expect in Japan. The taste was amazing and fresh. The staff was very warm and welcoming. The service was quick and friendly and very intentional - a few minutes after ordering they came back to refresh my hot tea and gave me an update on my order. After they brought my meal they came back to see how I was doing and if everything was good. They even brought me a complimentary piece of cake that was a new dessert item they were trying. It was so amazing! The sushi chef herself stopped by my table to see if I enjoyed the selevtion. I really felt like the staff at Sake cared about me and wanted to make sure I had the best possible experience. The decor of the dinning room is very much traditional Japanese with vizy booths that offer a bit of privacy. There are also some larger table that can seat a bit larger party. They also have the Sushi bar. I ordered some Sweet and Sour Pork To go and it came with a side of frief rice. The portion was ample and the quality of the food was acceptable, but the dish itself was just so uninspired. The pork was breaded and deep fried and there was warm red sauce to pour over it - that's it. It wasn't bad, but after the Sushi roll experience I had dinning in, it was very anticlimactic. I did not try the hibachi items, but I will the next time I go back. That is if I can resist the temptation for another Sushi roll! So yummy!
